I love it when designers from big famous fashion houses team up with high-end but low budget boutiques to avail the normal middle class earner with a bit of their well known glamorous and elegant collections. is there a fashionable man or woman with a low income who wouldn't want to wear an item from their favorite designer?
Recently, Versace teamed up with H&M to make an exclusive collection for their buyers. Not only is the collection colorful, beautiful and a true reflection of what the house of Versace is known for, it is also affordable! The result of this partnership, on sale at 300 stores worldwide, is an 86-piece collection that includes interpretations of many of the label’s greatest hits, such as the palm-print dress worn by Jennifer Lopez to the Grammy Awards in 2000 and the leopard prints that Versace is known for.
All kudos goes to the master mind behind this joint venture Lady Gaga whose little monsters have been asking how they can get some of her outfits without having to break their banks. And Versace wanted to reach out to the new generation of fashion lovers who may not be familiar with her brand.

Facial treatments are a must for every lady because we love looking good and wear a lot of makeup. The usage of makeup wears out the skin especially if worn an a daily basis. It is good to get facial treatments to rejuvenate your skin and also improve on blood circulation to your face but a good facial treatment is quite costly.
Why spend money buying beauty products if you can make your own right in your kitchen?
Try out these easy treatments for a better feel to your face.
For those that suffer from oily skin. Mash a ripe banana with a spoon of honey and a few drops of lemon juice. Apply to your face and wait for 15 minutes. Wipe off with a hot wash cloth.
Mix olive oil and brown sugar to form a paste in your palm. Apply to your face in gentle circular scrubbing motions. Wipe with a hot wash cloth.
Ps: it is not good to let scrub settle on the face for more than 5 minutes. It does more damage than good.
It is good to scrub your face every two weeks.
Apply a raw egg yolk to your face and neck. Leave for 30minutes then rinse with cool water. Egg yolks are high in Vitamin A which is good for the skin.
Mix a cup of yoghurt to half a cup of oatmeal. Apply to sun burnt and irritated skin. Leave for 15minutes the wipe off with a hot wash cloth.

Checked shirts have been around for a long time but only to a select group of people and were usually exclusive to the working class. They are so versatile, stylish and comfortable that they have managed to cross on to the scene for the fashion savvy and they come in all sorts of colors both long sleeved and short.
It is such a refreshing trend especially now that it is unisex. Both men and women can wear plaid shirts pulling off the casual yet fashionable look comfortably.
A checked shirt can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion or for just one of those days when you are having a casual day out with the boys or girls.
And for the girls, not only do they come in shirts, they are also checked shirt dresses to give you that tomboy yet feminine look.

Most of you have been having trouble commenting on my blog posts for a few weeks now. I am sorry for the mess and undue frustration caused. Apparently it is a blogger problem and they are trying to sort it out though don't know for how long.
Anyway, I have integrated a new comments system to help out. I hope you find the new one a little better and good. the added advantage is you don't have to have a google mail account to be able to comment and also you can share some of my posts to either Facebook or Twitter once you "like" them.
Let me know if you have problems with it too or if it works best for you.
